Natural pressing is the best method of extracting oil. The obtained oil contains no chemical substances — it is produced by mechanically pressing seeds in the pressing chamber. This process allows the oil to retain its nutritional value, natural aroma, color, and flavor. Naturally cold-pressed oil, produced at low temperatures, is a rich source of unsaturated omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids. These compounds are responsible for many vital processes in the body — they support the cardiovascular system, lower cholesterol levels, regulate triglycerides, normalize blood pressure, and strengthen the body’s resistance to infections and allergies, among other benefits.
Applications ⚙️
The YZYX90-2 screw oil press is ideal for seeds with more than 15% oil content and moisture under 10%. For best results, seeds should have a hard natural shell. Soft seeds, such as hulled sunflower or pumpkin seeds, require slightly higher pressing temperatures than standard cold pressing. (For these, see our hot pressing machines and seed roasters.)
